Today, we join people around the world in mourning the passing of Pope Francis, and we reflect on the enduring impact he had on our lives, on AG²¶Óã, and on the global community.

AG²¶Óã is aware of reports that the U.S. government is cancelling some F-1 and J-1 student visas and F-1 and J-1 immigration records are being terminated in the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS).

This year’s theme for SAAM is “Together we act, United we change” which highlights the importance of working together to address and prevent sexual abuse, assault, and harassment.

With Earth Month upon us, we prepare to celebrate two milestones that are meaningful for AG²¶Óã—the 55th anniversary of Earth Day on April 22 followed by the 10-year anniversary of Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’ encyclical on integral ecology, in May.

I am delighted to share that AG²¶Óã has signed an agreement with Cornish College of the Arts that provides for the establishment of Cornish College of the Arts at AG²¶Óã.

As I’m sure you have heard from news reports, Washington Middle School suffered an incredibly tragic loss yesterday when a 12-year-old student was fatally struck by a car while walking to recess.
